Every year in spring, the Colegio San José hosts a new edition of the EDUCAVITA Youth Meeting for Leisure and Free Time. Boys and girls from educational centers throughout Extremadura, both in the province of Badajoz and Cáceres, are invited to participate. The School intends to maintain the idea with which this event was born, of “proposing to young people some activities in which to occupy their leisure time in a healthy and formative way”. For this, it offers the possibility of participating in almost a hundred workshops, recreational-sports, training and interactive activities with which to experiment, enjoy and promote coexistence among them.

The appointment usually begins around nine in the morning and runs uninterrupted until the end of the afternoon school schedule. The greater participation of fathers and mothers, channeled through the AMPA, has meant in recent editions a wide variety of workshops spread throughout the premises.

Likewise, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the work of different NGOs in the area dedicated to the solidarity area. From the organization, a first communication is sent to the educational centers, during the first quarter of the course, as general information. In the 2nd quarter, a second communication is sent to the centers with more details in this regard.
